2009 EMSystems User Meeting

The 2009 User Meeting, “New Ideas — Stronger Impact””, was designed to share best practices, industry expertise, and innovative ideas to improve emergency preparedness and response for today and tomorrow’s health emergencies. EMSystems gathered industry thought leaders, clients, and EMSystems subject matter experts to present new and innovative ways to improve and strengthen emergency preparedness strategies.

Highlighted topics included H1N1 preparation and response, pandemic surveillance, hospital evacuation, and public health alert management. This included a special session on emergent ways to leverage patient tracking with EMTrack, a critical tool for H1N1 monitoring, vaccination delivery tracking, and hospital evacuation management.
